X-CAPE 1200
ADVENTURE WITH NO COMPROMISES
The spirit of adventure at Moto Morini is embodied in the X-Cape 1200, a touring motorcycle with character, perfect for those who want to embrace their desire to travel in any situation, without compromise. This maxi-adventure bike, powered by the V2 Corsa Corta EVO engine delivering 125 horsepower and robust torque, ensures smooth performance even at low revs. It's a blend of power and control, advanced technology, and top-tier components, all designed to enhance safety and the pleasure of riding.
The design highlights its versatility and ease of use—whether navigating city streets, cruising on long motorways, conquering mountain passes, or tackling off-road trails.
The harmonious balance of performance, agility, power, comfort, and unmistakable Italian style was the guiding principle for the Moto Morini team throughout the design process of the X-Cape 1200. Designed and engineered in Italy, the engine offers powerful yet smooth performance, with excellent torque delivery that guarantees confidence during acceleration. The full-bodied, deep sound remains unchanged, meeting the latest Euro5+ emissions standards.
The driver assistance systems that equip the X-Cape 1200 enhance the riding experience, making it more comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. Cruise control, shift assistance, three-level traction control (which can be deactivated), rear blind spot radar, and cornering lights all provide support, stepping in when needed to facilitate manoeuvring and improve driving dynamics.
Notably, the cornering lights—additional full LED lights that activate at two different lean angles—help prevent dangers in low-visibility situations. A central camera, located beneath the front headlight, allows the ride to be recorded.
Riders can also personalise their experience with three different engine maps, which adjust power delivery.
The ergonomic seat ensures a comfortable, active riding position for riders of all statures, further supported by the contoured tank. The adjustable windscreen and standard hand guards offer excellent aerodynamic protection, even at high speeds. The bodywork design also channels hot air away from the rider, improving comfort and extending riding pleasure.
The rider seat and grips are heated, ensuring optimal comfort even in the most adverse weather conditions. This easily activated heating system maintains a pleasant temperature while riding.
The passenger receives equal attention, with a carefully designed seat-pedestal-handle triangulation. The handle, made of aluminium and integrated with the rear rack plate, ensures long and exciting trips for two without compromising comfort.
The tubular trellis frame surrounds the engine, minimising the bike's transverse dimensions, while the 630mm long swingarm provides excellent traction and riding control.
The tangential, tubeless spoked wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3 tires, offering enhanced versatility in all conditions. The centre stand provides optimal stability when the bike is stationary.
Tire pressure sensors, included as standard, display real-time data, ensuring the rider always has this critical safety parameter under control.
The Brembo braking system, featuring ultra-lightweight monobloc front calipers and a 280mm rear disc, enables sharp yet controlled deceleration. The anti-skid clutch improves bike control during braking and downshifting. The ABS system is enhanced with a cornering function. The high braking force and reduced pitching during road use make the bike extremely safe. For more experienced riders looking to tackle unpaved roads, the option to disable the anti-lock braking system remains available.
The 7-inch TFT screen features an integrated navigation system, allowing maps to be displayed directly on the screen while keeping essential riding information easily accessible.
Dual USB and USB-C ports are included to power any device. The Moto Morini original accessories package, including a set of saddlebags with integrated fasteners, further enhances the X-Cape 1200.
This comprehensive offering positions the model firmly in the large- displacement Adventure segment, ready to stand up to any comparison.
The X-Cape 1200 is available in three colors: Energy Red, Viper Black, and Arctic White. Market arrival is expected in the second half of 2025.
